THE FANTASY SELF PORTRAIT SERIES

This is a project I started in late 2020, with the goal of capturing myself in a fantasy setting in a new dress I had just purchased. In 2021, I turned it into a series for a photography class I was taking, and it has kept growing ever since. I love the idea of using photography, a medium often thought of as solely depicting the truth, to create these fantastical scenarios.
